"America's Largest Downtown Square" has been lovingly restored and features new sidewalks, lamp posts graced with colorful banners and flower-filled planters. Churches and historic homes just off the Square add grace and charm to the downtown area.The Square features a number of distinctive shops filled with clothing, unusual gifts, home & personal accessories, antiques and furniture - at affordable prices. More than a dozen additional antique stores are scattered near the downtown. Other shopping opportunities include the developing Old Town on Fourth area where the old Coca Cola bottling plant, now a retail store, stands as the centerpiece.
